Archived jobs no longer run on schedule
Archived jobs with schedules will stop running automatically to prevent hidden jobs from executing in the background.
October 31, 2025
Archived jobs with schedules enabled will now stop running automatically. This ensures that jobs hidden from your main jobs list don’t continue executing in the background.
🔧 Improvements
- Scheduled job control – archiving a job with an active schedule now prevents it from running automatically until you unarchive it. This gives you better control over which jobs are actively running in your store.
⚠️ What This Means
If you have archived jobs that were previously running on a schedule, they will no longer execute automatically. To resume scheduled runs:
- Navigate to the Archived jobs page
- Find the job you want to reactivate
- Click More actions → Unarchive
- The job will resume running on its schedule
This change prevents confusion where archived (hidden) jobs continue to run in the background, potentially causing unexpected imports or exports.
