Your AI tool can now answer "does this SKU exist?" or "did my import work?" in one step, and your job history stays free of small checks.

### What's New

- **Look up records** - the new `lookup` tool returns up to 50 matching records in the chat, with the same columns as an export (see [Connect Altera to ChatGPT or Claude](https://support.getaltera.com/en/articles/14884915-connect-altera-to-claude#what-the-assistant-can-do)).

### Heads-up

- **Same limits as exports** - connection permissions and plan item limits apply, and each lookup counts toward the Starter plan's 10 MCP calls per day.
- **Slow filters** - filters that check every record, such as metafield values, need an export.
