Match URLs to existing files from the CLI

CLI version 0.4.22 brings the Match URLs to existing files import option to the command line, so scheduled imports don’t fill your Files library with duplicates.

  • --match-urls-to-existing-files - import create can now match media URLs to files already on your store by filename, so re-imports reuse them instead of uploading copies (see option details).

This is handy for recurring imports from a PIM or another external system: image URLs that point outside your store are normally downloaded on every run, and the option keeps those re-runs from creating duplicate files that count against your storage.
