When Shopify can’t process a product image (for example, the source URL no longer exists), it keeps the image on the product but marks it as failed. Exports used to leave those rows completely blank, so you had no way to tell which image broke or why.
Improvements#
- Failed image details - the Image Src column now shows the Shopify error and the original image URL for images that failed to process, so you can spot and fix broken media at a glance.
- Alt text kept - the Image Alt Text for a failed image is now preserved in the export instead of coming through empty.
