Shopify stores a product's country of origin as a two-letter code, so a file with `Germany` in the **Variant Country of Origin** column used to fail. Altera now recognizes full country names and converts them for you.

### Improvements

- **Country names accepted** - the **Variant Country of Origin** column takes a full name (`Germany`) or a two-letter code (`DE`), so files exported from other tools import as-is.
- **Skipped, not failed** - an unrecognized country (a typo or local spelling like `Deutschland`) is skipped with a warning instead of failing the whole product, so the rest of the import still goes through.
